Vila Viçosa

Vila Viçosa, named for its charms and the fertility of the land, is also known as the "Princess of Alentejo". This Alentejo village is the land of one of the most illustrious Portuguese poetesses, Florbela Espanca, a pioneer of the feminist movement in Portugal.
